Dance Fusion began in 2003 when a 19 year old Melissa Sgro began in a community hall with just a few students and a head full of big ideas. No mirrors. No fancy lights. Just passion, good music, and a deep belief in what dance could do for young people. What started as a few dance class quickly grew into a dance movement.

Today, Dance Fusion is one of Australia’s most awarded studios, based in a purpose-built facility in Morley and home to over 300 students a week. We've now taught more than 5,000 dancers — helping them grow not just in skill, but in confidence, resilience, and creativity. We’ve performed on stages around the world — including Disneyland and Universal Studios — and trained students who’ve gone on to become teachers, performers, and lifelong dance lovers.

We’re not just a dance studio. We’re a community. A second home. A place where dancers are seen, supported, and celebrated — no matter their age or ability. Our programs are built with care and purpose, combining dance education with sports science, child development, and a whole lot of heart. From preschoolers to advanced competitors to adults trying something new, every class is designed to bring out the best in every dancer.
