- Do not park in front of the glass studio doors or neighbouring units (especially the towing company!)

- Staff bays (4 total) are reserved and clearly marked

Supervision Procedures

We prioritise student safety at every stage:

- Supervision begins 10 minutes before and ends 10 minutes after class

- Parents must accompany children under 10 to the entrance and collect them promptly

- Students may not leave the studio during class without permission

- Parents may wait in the designated waiting area, but not inside the classroom unless it's a Tinies/participation class

Behaviour Expectations

We promote a positive, inclusive culture. All students are expected to:

- Treat others with kindness and respect

- Follow teacher instructions promptly

- Care for studio property and equipment

- Maintain personal hygiene (especially for barefoot or partnered classes such as silks and acro)

- Bullying, Gossiping, or Intimidation of any kind will not be tolerated. Any serious breaches may lead to suspension or dismissal

Our team uses a step-based approach for managing concerns:
Verbal reminder → Redirection → Parent consultation → Behaviour agreement → Suspension if necessary

Keeping Our Students Safe

- All staff and volunteers hold valid WWC Checks.

- Mandatory reporting procedures for suspected child sexual abuse.

- Supervision from 10 minutes before until 10 minutes after class.

- CCTV in all studios and shared areas (except bathrooms).

- Toilet policy: younger students escorted by a female staff member to and from the bathrooms.

- Staff complete quarterly training in child protection and first aid.

- Reports managed confidentially by our designated Child Protection Officer.

- Families must declare any medical conditions at enrolment

- Provide labelled medications (e.g. EpiPen, asthma puffer) to reception

- Submit a Health Management Plan for asthma, epilepsy, diabetes, or allergies

- Students showing symptoms of illness (incl. Covid-19) must not attend class until cleared

- Staff are trained in first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis, and emergency evacuation

Privacy & Media Consent

- We respect your privacy. Contact details and health information are stored securely

- Photos or videos may be used for promotions unless written opt-out is provided

- Please avoid sharing studio content (videos/choreography) without permission or acknowledgment

- All communication must go through official studio channels (email, phone, DSP)—not private staff contact

Can I watch my child’s class?
No, to preserve focus and privacy, classes are closed to parents. You’re welcome in the waiting area and can enjoy open weeks or showcases. View our Full Child Safety Policy Here

What do I bring to class?
Correct dance attire, shoes, a water bottle, and a great attitude! For acro/aerial, clean feet and hair tied back are a must.

How do I notify an absence?
Log any absences via the Parent Portal to help us manage makeups and attendance records.

What happens if I’m late for pick-up?
We supervise for 10 minutes post-class. After 15 minutes, late fees or emergency contact procedures may apply.

What if someone else is collecting my child?
You must notify us in writing or via DSP. Children are only released to authorised adults.
