Dance Fusion was born in 2003 from the passion and dedication of a 19-year-old visionary, Melissa Sgro, whose mission was to create a positive and supportive community that allowed students to be free to express themselves creatively and confidently while experiencing the joy of dance. 

With offerings in modern jazz, tap, classical ballet, acrobatics, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, aerial silks & specialised technique classes, Dance Fusion has been providing quality dance tuition to girls and boys of all ages and abilities for over two decades. 

We equally value our recreational classes and competitive streams & it has been our unwavering mission to provide high-quality dance tuition and education, within a nurturing environment to every student who enters our studio.  

Our core values of Community, Creativity, Confidence, Kindness, Passion, and Loyalty have illuminated our path over the past 21 years. What truly sets us apart is our premier purpose-built studio, state-of-the-art training facility that equally creates an unmatched environment for students to learn & flourish, as well as a haven for students to spend time with their friends. 

Dance Fusion has enjoyed many successes, awards & accolades over the past twenty years. Some highlights include winning the overall studio of the festival at Onstage Performing Arts Competitions for 4 years running, as well as having our students achieve overall Dancer Of the Festival and Championship dancer victories.  

In 2023, at the Australasian Dance Education Awards, Dance Fusion was the very first studio to be inducted into the 'Hall of Fame' for outstanding impact to the dance industry for 20+ years.  Dance Fusion also won the very prestigious Australian Dance Studio of the Year 2023 award, and received a silver award for excellence in team culture & Runner Up Studio Owner of the year. Melissa Sgro was also a finalist of the ROAR business awards for Woman of the Year 2023.
