Today, Dance Fusion continues to provide specialized dance tuition to over 350 students and she credits her continued successes to the studio’s fun & friendly approach to dance.
Miss Melissa has since earned her full CSTD (theatrical) qualifications, and has extended her love of human movement with a Bachelor of Science (BSc. Sports Science), and Master of Science (MSc. Exercise Physiology) degrees from ECU. She is a wife, mother to 2 beautiful girls, and a passionate dance teacher, mentor and friend to her students.
"I have been very fortunate to develop a deep, all consuming love of dance from an early age. I have been awarded so many amazing opportunities to continue my learning and expand on my teaching techniques & repertoire from national & international industry leaders, artists & choreographers. I took my passion for dance and combined it with my unwavering desire to effectively and efficiently train the human (dancer’s) body. I am incredibly proud of the current programs we are implementing at Dance Fusion, based on my years of experience in the dance industry, continued training and careful study into the developing dancer's anatomy & physiology. My philosophy: Everyone deserves the chance to love dance"

With over 15 years experience in teaching children to dance and four children of my own, I was blessed with a natural affinity of relating well to children of all ages. I’ve gained so much joy and satisfaction from watching each child I’ve taught blossom with confidence and develop their potential.
Dancing is an expression of life and giving your child the gift of dance will not only improve their memory skills, improve co-ordination, posture and fitness but most importantly encourage them to become more confident expressive individuals. I hope you enjoy watching your little star dance just as much as I enjoy teaching them.
